Plan pump installation around the unit, site and existing system interfaces. PTTS discusses the connection between pump, motor, pipework and supporting equipment to define a practical work scope.
Equipment and installation requirements
Provide the pump and motor identification, quantity, intended application and available layout. State whether the work is a new installation, a replacement or a system change. Available flow and pressure requirements are inputs for review; final operating values follow system evaluation and equipment data.
Mechanical and electrical boundaries
Identify any base plate, alignment, valve, strainer, piping, cable or panel requirements separately. Clarify which equipment and materials are already supplied and who owns each connection. Access, lifting constraints and the space around the unit should be included in the installation discussion.
Prepare your enquiry
- Equipment nameplates and available pump–motor layout.
- Piping drawings, accessory list and material supply boundaries.
- Site photographs, access arrangements and intended schedule.
Questions about this service
Are pipework and control panels included?
These interfaces must be identified in the quotation. Installing a pump does not automatically include all piping, electrical supply or control modifications.
