ABB has supplied its latest home charging solution, the AC wallbox, to PT Farpoint Realty Indonesia, developer of Verde Two Apartment in the heart of Jakarta. The first apartments in Indonesia to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure for use by residents, the development sets a precedent for future residential construction across the country. The commissioning was successfully completed in July 2020.
Verde Two Apartment is a luxury residence that also promotes the concept of healthy and green housing. It consists of two state-of-the-art high-rise towers in Kuningan CBD, Jakarta. It is developed by PT Farpoint Realty Indonesia, one of the country’s trusted real estate developers, that develops and manages various distinctive properties. This commitment to sustainability is now further enhanced by providing electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities to promote zero-emission mobility for its residents and support the growing adoption of EV‘s in Indonesia. The type of charger being supplied to the Verde Two apartements is ABB’s AC wallbox, which provides a high quality, yet cost effective electric vehicle charging solution. The charger is contained in its own enclosure that can be either wall or pole mounted at homes or offices, allowing drivers to simply plug their car and get on with their day or leave the car charged overnight.
